WEFAX Broadcast Schedules & Document File Names The pages and files below contain archived Weather FAX (WEFAX) document file names and broadcast schedule information for U.S. marine WeatherFAX broadcasts, including Boston, New Orleans, and San Francisco. Verify current schedules and frequencies with the appropriate government or broadcast source before use. - Use the WEFAX broadcast schedule to determine when the documents you want to copy will be broadcast, and the frequencies to which you should tune your SSB. - Use the file names to request WEFAX documents via e-mail through Saildocs or the NWS FAX-Back system as discussed in The Sailors Quick-Start Guide to Sailmail, Airmail, Winlink2000. - WEFAX broadcasts are in no way related to Sailmail or Winlink.  WEFAX broadcasts are a free public service provided by the US Government, and receiving these broadcast "off the air" using your SSB and a WEFAX program like GetFAX or JVCOMM32 does not require a subscription to Sailmail, nor does it use Sailmail or Winlink connect time.
