A large LCD dial display, well spaced buttons, and large channel selector knobs make the Icom M802 a breeze to use even in rough seas. The Icom M802's "general coverage" receiver pulls in signals from 0.5 MHz to 29.999 MHz, giving you the tuning range that enables you to listen to standard commercial AM radio broadcast, Ham and Marine SSB radio, as well as long-distance shortwave news, weather, and sports (a great feature when at sea). Connect the proper radio modem to your Icom M802, and the M802 becomes the heart of a world-wide e-mail and weather FAX (WEFAX) system.

  • Three Easy Pieces.

    • The 4"H x 8"W x 4"D remote control head has a generously wide trim bezel, making surface mounting a cinch (MB-75 Flush Mount Kit or equivalent required).

    • Main Unit can be hidden away under the navigators seat or other seldom-used location using the included mounting bracket.

    • Remote speaker can be either flush mounted using a MB-75 Flush Mount Kit, or surface mounted using the included mounting bracket.

•  All cables simply plug-in except for the antenna and GPS input cables which use a standard coax screw-on PL-259, or twist-on BNC connector.

•  Separate external speaker (included) permits you to place the sound where it's most needed.

•  Receive frequency range: 500 kHz - 29.9999 MHz

•  Transmit frequency range: 1.6 MHz - 27.5 MHz* (Ready to go on both Marine & Ham frequencies).
